I had a great experience here! I stopped by while putting together my first planted aquarium, and they had everything I needed for my setup. The staff was friendly, patient, and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. I also scored an awesome deal on a used fish tank that came with a light for only $50, which really helped me stay within my budget. You can tell they care about helping customers get started, whether you’re new to the hobby or have been keeping fish for years. I’m really happy with how my aquarium turned out thanks to everything I found here. I’ll definitely be coming back for future plants, fish, and supplies. Highly recommend!

My aquarist pal and I drove up from Orange to visit this little store after hearing about it for years, and wow, am I so glad that we did! There’s a huge selection of freshwater and saltwater livestock as well as plants and dry goods. Seriously, there is so much packed into this little LFS, it’s a fishkeeper’s dream. When you walk in, you will see two stunning display tanks: a large marine one with very mature corals and 700 gallon planted freshwater angel/rainbowfish/tetra tank that I could stare at for days. We were greeted by Nate, a friendly and very knowledgeable guy who was able to help us troubleshoot a problem with a canister filter and help us find everything we needed. Ok, highlights, if you’re into freshwater: there is a great selection of the usual tetras, cories, livebearers, barbs, angels, and rainbowfish as well as some less common species of tetras, flounder, fancy guppy strains, golden barbs, blue eyes, doctor fish, pygmy albino cories, medaka, and shrimps. On the marine side, they have an impressive variety of frags and the usual fish and inverts you would expect, but they also had a stunning reasonably priced flame angel, an adorable dog face puffer, and a Stars

What a phenomenal place. As an experienced freshwater aquarist, it can be difficult to find aquarium stores that dedicate their efforts toward both the fresh and salt water signs of the hobby. I just went here for the first time and was absolutely blown away by their freshwater fish selection, as well as the cleanliness and upkeep of their display and stock tanks. Nate was so incredibly helpful with some problems. I was having with aquarium plumbing. I had been to multiple other stores before, and no one was able to offer me a solution that actually worked. Their prices are so reasonable, especially when it comes to aquarium/stand setups and plants and chemicals. They will even order uncommon fish/supplies for you if you want, and if they can’t find them right away, they’ll just keep looking and contact you whenever they do. I really enjoyed speaking with one of the other employees (but I can’t remember her name, sorry!!) and the resident Meow-nager. This cat is awesome. He drinks out of one of the open top small tanks and there’s a little towel set up there just for him! 😍 I can’t wait to go back. Support local businesses!

I’ve been buying aquatic plants online from different sites and I must say I was very impressed. I am definitely going to come here and purchase more plants and whatever else I need
